An exceptional opportunity for young pianists
Taking part in this experience is an unparalleled adventure and an exceptional opportunity for these Montreal student pianists to meet professionals in the field and to discover international artists of the new generation. Indeed, they will have the privilege of attending the entirety of the First Round of the Piano 2024 edition Competition. They will enjoy privileged seating in the balcony of Salle Bourgie, alongside the members of the CMIM’s international jury. At the conclusion of the First Round, the members will vote for the
” Junior Jury Prize “, valued at $1,000, which will be awarded on the evening of May 7th.
” It’s an honour for me to accompany
piano students on this enriching experience for their professional journey. They will also have instructive encounters with the audience, the participating pianists and the Jury, exceptional mentors. Being part of the Junior Jury is an educational opportunity that allows students to develop their critical aspect in assessing the interpretive qualities of the participants. “
