The Final Round of the 76th Concours de Genève, section composition, will be held on Wednesday 26 October at the Conservatoire de Genève, Salle Franz Liszt. The three finalists’ works will be performed as world premiere by the Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart :
  • Ármin Cservenák (Hungary), « Madrigali » for six voices
  • Shin Kim (Korea), « The Song of Oneiroi » for six voices and microphones
  • Yuki Nakahashi (Japan), « Settings » for vocal ensemble

The concert will be followed by the official prize-giving ceremony. It will be broadcast live on RTS-Espace 2 and live streamed on YouTube, Facebook, concoursgeneve.ch, medici.tv et amadeus.tv.

The 76th Concours de Genève will continue until November 3rd with the Piano Competition.

CONCERT « PORTRAIT OF THE FINALISTS »
23 Oct. 17:00, Salle Franz Liszt, Conservatoire
This concert is the opportunity to get to know the three young composers selected by the Jury this Spring. We have asked them to choose two chamber music pieces from among their work, which will be performed by students of the Geneva University of Music. Free entrance.
