The Governor General’s Literary Awards (GGBooks) celebrate literature and inspire people to read books by creators from Canada. They provide finalists and winners with valuable recognition from peers and readers across the country. The GGBooks offer a great way to discover works by some of the most unique and inspiring creators of literature in Canada.
Visit ggbooks.ca to view the impressive list of 2023 finalists. Each year, many books are assessed and 70 are selected by peer assessment committees across seven categories, in both official languages.
