The Milton Quartet wins the Gold Medal & Grand Prize at the 2017 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.
Following in the footsteps of the Lloyd Carr-Harris Quartet, winner in 2005, the quartet studies under the tutelage of Prof. André J. Roy, director of the McGill International String Quartet Academy (MISQA).
Home in South Bend, Indiana, the Fischoff Competition is the largest chamber of its kind in the world. Each year, an average of 125 ensembles, representing 22 nationalities enter the competition.
The Schulich School of Music of McGill University is very proud of the achievement of the Milton Quartet and we join our voices to the those of the entire McGill community in congratulating them on this success.
