Montreal, January 15, 2022 – This week, Piano Esmonde White are thrilled to unveil the result of years of research. They have developed a revolutionary mechanism for the piano: the Esmonde White Vertical Action. This mechanism is entirely designed and assembled in Montreal by their team of experienced engineers and technicians.
Following in the footsteps of his mentor Darrell Fandrich, EW president Oliver Esmonde-White is opening the door to a new technology that allows a pianist to experience the same sensitivity of touch and sound formerly only found in grand pianos.
The Esmonde White Vertical Action technology improves the upright piano by integrating components that can be easily adjusted with a screwdriver: the modular spring/hammer return block and the repeating ring.
