BIGLAKE FESTIVAL “ROOTS” 2023 This year’s festival celebrates all the things that ground us, nourish us, hold us and make us who we are. We are proud to once again present an incredible array of world-class musicians who will be presenting programmes that are inspired by nature, history, ethnic roots, and explore an array of traditional and folk music from various cultures. We are looking forward to returning to some familiar venues, but we are excited to have created new venue partnerships to continue to surprise you in bringing exceptional and unique concert experiences in different settings across the County. This season BIGLAKE is honoured to present for the first time a concert in the Tyendinaga Territory, at the historical Christ Church, opening communication lines and exchange by bringing the communities together through the universal language of music, in an effort to inspire positive change and reconciliation.
