Montreal, Feb. 7, 2023 – The 13th annual La Scena Musicale’s Singing Valentines will feature a roster of 20 singers from opera, art song, jazz and pop music. This year, La Scena Musicale is offering 100 free serenades for seniors who are 65 and older. To thank the singers, 100% of paid serenades will go towards the professionally trained singers.

“Over the last year and a half, I lost both my 86-year-old father-in-law and my 99-year-old father,” says Wah Keung Chan, founder of La Scena Musicale and creator of Singing Valentines. “I want to do something special for seniors.”

Serenades

For the 13th consecutive year, people in Canada as well as all over the world will be able to order a Singing Valentines Serenade for their loved ones. This year, seniors 65 and up will be able to receive a serenade free of charge in the type of music of their choice! Additionally, for $30-$130, individuals will be able to choose their singer and song of choice and all proceeds will be given to the singers. Whether it be for a friend, a partner, a parent, or children, this is the perfect personalized Valentine’s gift to send!
