Montreal, Feb. 7, 2023 – The 13th annual La Scena Musicale’s Singing Valentines will feature a roster of 20 singers from opera, art song, jazz and pop music. This year, La Scena Musicale is offering 100 free serenades for seniors who are 65 and older. To thank the singers, 100% of paid serenades will go towards the professionally trained singers.
“Over the last year and a half, I lost both my 86-year-old father-in-law and my 99-year-old father,” says Wah Keung Chan, founder of La Scena Musicale and creator of Singing Valentines. “I want to do something special for seniors.”
