Justin Ko is a Canadian trumpet player studying at Rice University with Barbara Butler. He has performed with the Hannaford Street Silver Band, ONES Beatles Show, Casa Loma Symphony, and on baroque trumpet with the Guelph Chamber Choir. He is also an alumnus of the NACO Mentorship Program, NYO Canada, and the National Academy Orchestra, as well as a substitute musician with the New World Symphony. Justin completed undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto with Steven Woomert in 2025. Shortly before graduating, he won third place in the Orchestral Excerpts Division of the ITG Ryan Anthony Memorial Trumpet Competition.
