In five short years, the Halifax Gay Men’s Chorus (HGMC) has established itself as one of Atlantic Canada’s most dynamic choral groups, performing a broad and exciting repertoire of classical, choral and pop hits, infused with the fun and fellowship shared amongst its lower voiced, 2SLGBTQIA+ singers. With a membership of 80 singers, HGMC, which regularly sells out its multi-night concert series, has captured significant attention in Nova Scotia and an audience in the thousands, with its combination of meaningful song choices, challenging arrangements and cheeky, flamboyant camp.
