No holiday season is complete without a full and tasty banquet of Tchaikovsky! Korean-Canadian Earl Lee conducts this year’s tribute to the beloved Russian composer, which displays Tchaikovsky’s equal mastery of two different types of music: theatrical and symphonic. You’ll enjoy a generous selection of favourite sugar plums from the ballet The Nutcracker, complemented by the passionate and tempestuous Fourth Symphony, in which he confronted the cold forces of fate that he felt ruled his existence.
