Montréal pianists Daniel Áñez and Brigitte Poulin illuminate the stage, completing this pianistic panorama. Helmut Lachenmann’s lullaby, Gordon Monahan’s experimental minimalism, Anne Southam’s haunting melody and Jocelyn Morlock’s delicacy follow each other in an ethereal repertoire. Berio’s radical microcosm and Émilie Girard-Charest’s singular tonalities add their unique colours to this unusual soundscape. A musical journey where a variety of striking sound worlds unfold.
