Maestro Arman and the orchestra welcome two superb guest stars – Polish soprano Dominka Zamara will make her Canadian debut in 10 songs by Chopin, and pianist Anya Alexeyev will solo in an orchestral arrangement of Shostakovich’s magnificent Piano Quintet in G minor. The program also includes Kalinnikov’s beautiful late-Romantic Serenade.
