After his highly acclaimed first appearance at the Maison symphonique in
2019, French conductor Hervé Niquet is back with the OSM to direct
Berlioz’s L’enfance du Christ. With this monumental, three-part
work for soloists, choir and orchestra, the composer further made his
mark as a great dramatist, recounting the many episodes of a biblical
saga, bringing each character to life with remarkable refinement,
simplicity and intensity.
