Discover three creations commissioned by the Orchestre de l’Agora and directed by Nicolas Ellis for this 2nd edition of Big Bang. For the 2nd edition of the “Big Bang – Sommet de la création”, the Orchestre de l’Agora highlights its musicians as soloists! Nicolas Gilbert’s percussion concerto is performed by David Therrien Brongo and and Wlad Marhulets’ clarinet concerto by Victor Alibert. The Récital des Anges, a magnificent cycle for voice by the composer Ian Cusson, is also on the program. Originally written for piano and voice, the composition is specially adapted for the Agora Orchestra, to accompany soprano Elisabeth St-Gelais who sings the poems of Émile Nelligan.
