This final concert of Seventeen Voyces’ 2023-24 season will present a variety of choral and violin music from Hungarian composers including Zoltan Kodaly and Bela Bartok. Works will include Kodaly’s Laudes organi and Matra Pictures – evoking peasant life – as well as Bartok’s Four Slavic Folk Songs. The concert will also feature Bulgarian-Canadian violinist Ralitsa Tcholakova and organist Matthew Larkin who will perform Bartok’s Romanian Folk Dances.
