Among Canada’s finest musical ensembles, EMIC garners rave reviews for their exciting performances at major international venues. As Ensemble-in-Residence at Western University, Chatelaine magazine’s “Women to Watch” inspire and mentor the next generation of talented Canadians. These dynamic individuals are touring this musical tribute to all of the provinces and territories, performing the works of 14 multi-genre Canadian composers (classical, jazz, singer-songwriter, electronic, First Nations), encapsulating the glories of every region. Paired with the masterpiece, Brahms Quartet for piano and strings. This will be a rich autumn feast.
