Frontman Alex Bird, a Romanian-born artist who was adopted and raised in Canada, channels his lifelong love of jazz into every performance. Drawing from his youth spent in smoky jazz clubs alongside legends like Tony Bennett and Diana Krall, Bird’s voice carries the soul of tradition while embracing a new era of jazz innovation. His songwriting partner, Ewen Farncombe, masterfully shapes the group’s sound on piano, supported by the exceptional talents of Jacob Gorzhaltsan on saxophone and clarinet, Julian Anderson-Bowes on bass, and Norbert Botos on drums.

Their impressive discography includes Whisky Kisses, You Are the Light and the Way, and the critically acclaimed Songwriter. In 2024, they’re set to release Casanova Bossa Nova Lover Man, a collaborative Bossa Nova-inspired EP with Grammy-nominated artist Cheo.
