Marc Hervieux writes: I already had an album in mind, but the pandemic changed the shape a bit. In April 2020, after a few weeks of forced downtime, I was sitting in the family room at home and suddenly I saw myself as a young child listening to my parents’ records on the family stereo. Struck by nostalgia, I felt like covering these songs, in all humility and without reinventing them! To go back in time and relive, for the moment of a few songs, my childhood, a period in which I would never have imagined living the year as we all do. I sing for you songs from my albums Nostalgia 1 and 2 in English, Spanish, Italian and French, by Charles Aznavour, Neil Diamond, Kenny Rogers, Elvis, Engelbert Humperdinck, Willie Nelson, Perry Como… An intimate show for piano and voice.
