Fish Jones is a jazz fusion band that integrates contemporary electronic elements into its music in a live jazz context. Its musical processes, punctuated by nu jazz rhythms, evoke with a good dose of ironic humour the dark ambiences typical of film noir soundtracks (crime, espionage, alienation, cyber security…). The group’s pieces are a transliteration of Cold War paranoia into the digital non-space of the 21st century.
