Une occasion rare d’entendre les six Partitas de Bach en une même soirée. Les Partitas, rassemblées sous le titre de Clavier-Übung, furent les premières pièces que Bach publia dans l’espoir de gagner un peu de sous et beaucoup de gloire. Ce qui advint bien sûr car elles jouirent alors d’un grand succès, comme d’ailleurs aujourd’hui.

A wonderful opportunity to hear all of Bach’s six Partitas in one evening. The Partitas, which were Bach’s first published works, came together under the title of Clavier-Übung and were printed in the hope of earning their author both money and fame. This they did and were then, as they are now, a huge success.
