In the first part, the poetry of successive unrelated musical ideas reigns, thus disrupting perception and narration in Tambours intérieurs (2010) for string quartet by Jimmie Leblanc.
In the second part, the public plunges into piano music with spoken texts of the Irish-Japanese character Lafcadio Hearn, alias Koizumi Yakumo. The pieces were commissioned by the Japanese collective nothing but music to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Ireland.
