From baroque to contemporary, four centuries of music at your fingertips! Quatuor Bozzini and Les Boréades de Montréal bring together their respective strings and musical worlds in a programme that is at the antipodes of time. Dowland’s “Seven Lachrymæ Pavanes,” one of the 17th century’s great successes, intertwine with the creations of two young Canadian composers. Freely inspired by Renaissance astrology and stellar movements, the composers propose short compositions that revolve around the pavanes, taking you from one musical planet to another.
