In this unique and historically rich venue, you will hear one of the few performances by the Quatuor de Québec during a concert centred around the transcription of J.S. Bach’s Chaconne for its unusual warm-sounding formation. Originally for solo violin, this masterful version of the work amplifies the orchestral colours that are implied. This concert is a co-production of the Sine Nomine Concerts in Quebec and Musique de chambre at the Monastère des Augustines
