Visions explores the intimate dialogue between the viola and the cello through works by Beethoven, Lutosławski, Clarke, Piazzolla and Glière. This varied program weaves a narrative thread between eras and styles, from classic elegance to contemporary energy and captivating melodies. Carried by the viola of Elvira Misbakhova and the cello of Stéphane Tétreault, this musical encounter promises a rich experience in emotion and virtuosity. Elvira plays on an alto by Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume (1860-65) and a bow by Louis Basin, the generous archers of Canimex. Stéphane plays on the cello Stradivarius «Countess of Stainlein, Ex-Paganini» from 1707, which is generously lent to him by Mrs. Sophie Desmarais. The poco a poco musical encounters offer young people from 4 to 12 years old the opportunity to meet professional musicians of great talent, learn new musical styles and discover various musical instruments. The musical encounters lasting 1 hour are free. Children are accompanied by one or two parents.
