This concert explores the duality of two titanic masterpieces for cello and piano, from the pen of a woman and a man born thirteen years apart, both virtuoso instrumentalists but with surprisingly distinct musical voices. Centered on works dear to the musicians, it is a bridge between two worlds, a conversation between two instruments and two composers, a dialogue between artists and the public. Dialogues is a true musical conversation, connecting two eras, two artistic visions, and two talented artists. The musicians add “a dialogue between you and us”.
