The dynamic Gryphon Trio returns, alongside Scandinavia’s ethereal Nordic Voices, for a program that spans over 500 years. The six-member vocal ensemble will perform early music gems by Gesualdo and Victoria “with a unanimous sense of purpose” (Washington Post). The two ensembles join forces for the world premiere of Jeffrey Ryan’s Scar Tissue, featuring the haunting words of Giller Prize winner Michael Redhill.
