Les Idées heureuses and Les Jardins Chorégraphiques present a showcase of music by the enigmatic Italian composer Francesco Geminiani. Through his instrumental repertoire for harpsichord and English guitar (cittra), his Scottish folk tunes, and his ballet The Enchanted Forest (1761), discover the surprising range of compositions by this master of the Baroque period, in a performance that combines music, song and dance.
