Pianist Jean-Philippe Sylvestre presents a concert of moving intensity featuring works by the brilliant composer Nino Rota, best known for his soundtrack to the film The Godfather. He will perform some of the composer’s most popular and best-loved film music, as well as some lesser-known pieces from the classical solo piano repertoire. During the second half, Jean-Philippe invites his friend and colleague, the dazzling violinist Eric Speed, to join him on stage for a journey through the film music of Nino Rota and the greatest hits of legendary Italian composer Ennio Morricone.
