Fall for Dance North Festival (FFDN) returns for its 11th annual season, featuring more than 30 Canadian and international artists across multiple free and ticketed dance programs from October 15-26, 2025, at The Bluma Appel Theatre and venues across Toronto. Under the new leadership of Co-CEO’s, Festival Director Lily Sutherland and Artistic Director Robert Binet, the festival showcases three mixed Signature Programmes: AFROFUSION, HOMEGROWN, and KATHAK & BALLET. Festival highlights include performances from The Royal Ballet, Kathak sensations Tanveer Alam and Barkha Patel, and a world premiere from Artist-in-Residence Esie Mensah, among other local and international dance artists. New this year, Up Next at OCAD University spotlights groundbreaking artists in an audience directed experience, including timed entry and freedom to move throughout the space. Intimate Pairings offers the exhilaration of a front row seat in an easily enjoyable setting at The Citadel: Ross Centre for Dance. A variety of free in-person workshops and activities will be offered throughout the festival. Festival packages, single tickets, and complete details at: ffdnorth.com
