The Oraciones Ensemble was born from the meeting of four musicians from different backgrounds, including Lamia Yared, singer and oudist, Didem Başar, kanun musician, Omar Abou-Afach, violist, and Olivier Bussières, percussionist. Gathered to interpret a repertoire of Sephardic, Greek and Turkish-Ottoman music, the group immerses itself in a shimmering musical universe, coming through a long crossing from Spain to the Ottoman Empire.
