Veronique Lacroix’s Ensemble contemporain de Montreal (ECM+) champions the innovative musical mind. The ensemble’s biennial Generation contest fosters young composers at the beginning of their careers, allowing them to create music and see their work performed across Canada. This year’s tour features the work of Sophie Dupuis, Patrick Giguere, James O’Callaghan, and Thierry Tidrow.
