THEATRICAL CONCERT: Follow Sir Isaac Newton, then Warden of the Royal Mint, as he pursues William Chaloner, one of the most infamous – and brilliant – counterfeiters of all time. Newton was known as the greatest intellectual mind of his time. In 1696, a British government on the brink of bankruptcy called upon him on matters of national importance: put an end to rampant coin counterfeiting and solve the country’s crippling financial crisis! Actor Pierre Brault plays both Sir Isaac Newton and Chaloner. The drama is interspersed with music by the Ottawa Baroque Consort.
