Cordes Sympathiques is a concert inspired by the rich musical traditions of Iran, Turkey, and India (Carnatic). It brings together exceptional musicians, each representing their own musical tradition, while collaborating to create an innovative and harmonious musical dialogue.

The collective consists of Maryam Tazhdeh, a talented Iranian tar player, Didem Başar, a virtuoso Turkish kanun player, Anjana Srinivasan, a Carnatic violinist, and Ziya Tabassian, a percussionist of Iranian origin. Each member of the collective brings not only technical expertise but also their cultural experience and distinct musical language.

The program features original compositions and arrangements created by the artists themselves. Each musician contributes their own repertoire, style, and musical ideas, forming a rich and complex tapestry of sounds.
