Come celebrate the holiday season with Seventeen Voyces this December! Ottawa’s premier chamber choir, directed by musician and filmmaker Kevin Reeves, will be bringing Christmas cheer to Ottawa for two special holiday concerts featuring harpist Lucile Hildesheim. Benjamin Britten’s enchanting Ceremony of Carols will be a feature of the program, as well as jazz-infused favourites including “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch!”, “Let It Snow”, and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”.
The performances will be held on Saturday, December 16 at 7:30 PM at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church (130 Glebe Avenue, Ottawa) and on Sunday, December 17 at 4:00 PM at St. Bartholomew’s Church (125 MacKay Street, Ottawa). Tickets are $30, $20 for students, and free for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at www.seventeenvoyces.ca/concerts/ or at the door (cash, credit and debit accepted).
Venez célébrer le temps des Fêtes avec Seventeen Voyces en décembre ! Le premier chœur de chambre d’Ottawa, dirigé par le musicien et cinéaste Kevin Reeves, apportera la joie de Noël à Ottawa à l’occasion de deux concerts spéciaux mettant en vedette la harpiste Lucile Hildesheim. L’enchanteresse Ceremony of Carols de Benjamin Britten sera au programme, de même que des classiques du temps des fêtes imprégnés de jazz, dont ” You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch ! “, ” Let It Snow ” et ” I’ll Be Home for Christmas “.
Les représentations auront lieu le samedi 16 décembre à 19 h 30 à l’église anglicane St. Matthew’s (130, avenue Glebe, Ottawa) et le dimanche 17 décembre à 16 h à l’église St. Bartholomew’s (125, rue MacKay, Ottawa). Les billets sont en vente au prix de 30 $, 20 $ pour les étudiants et gratuits pour les enfants de 12 ans et moins. Les billets peuvent être achetés en ligne à l’adresse www.seventeenvoyces.ca/concerts/ ou à la porte (espèces, cartes de crédit et de débit acceptées).
