Pushing the limits of the body and the score! Choreographer Paul-André Fortier and composer Walter Boudreau bring together their unique sense of artistic adventure in a program illustrating the permeability of the disciplines. After composing Chaleurs for Fortier in 1985, Maestro Boudreau arranged a concert version of the work for saxophone quartet… which was in turn choreographed by Mr. Fortier. Borne on the wings of the Quasar Saxophone Quartet, this work also draws its inspiration from the planetary system to send you into orbit for an evening’s leap into space!
