Since 2004, the Canadian Vocal Arts Institute (CVAI) offers handpicked young singers a three-week program that combines high level training and brilliantly orchestrated public performances. CVAI is a focal point of encounters between young promising singers and the world’s most prominent vocal arts personalities. The wealth of talent and expertise of the teachers is instrumental in leading to dazzling discoveries at the Montréal Vocal Arts Festival, featuring about 10 events including a staged opera production; this year, Massenet’s Cendrillon.
