Follow the adventures of Babar, the little elephant who grows up in the big city and returns to the great forest to become King, narrated in both French and English to Francis Poulenc’s charming score performed by the Calgary Phil! Complemented by Montréal composer Maxime Goulet’s energetic Danse aérobique symphonnique and Igor Stravinsky’s witty Circus Polka, this concert is sure to delight kids of all ages!
These light-hearted one-hour school-day programs are designed to educate and inspire students. Concerts are shaped with themes presented in the classroom, and an accompanying guide is provided to all registered schools. We welcome educators and students from public, separate, private, charter, and home schools.
A limited number of subsidies are available. These subsidies are made possible thanks to the generous support of our donors.
