This album was everywhere – in car stereos, parking lots, and basement parties. At one point, it was even speculated that Supertramp was Canadian, given their immense popularity there before the States. The album itself is a sonic masterpiece, seamlessly continuing where The Beatles left off musically, and matching Dylan in lyrical prowess. Its subtleties pose a challenge, like an invisible velvet rope; if you know, you know. Stepping into the ambiance of the early 70s, this album epitomizes that era.
