The final concert of the Ottawa Bach Choir’s magnificent season features the rarely performed Passion Motets by early German Baroque master, Heinrich Schütz, Handel’s brilliant Dixit Dominus and Bach’s motet, Komm, Jesu, komm, BWV 229. With baroque chamber string ensemble and Canadian soloists, including countertenor Daniel Taylor and other special guests, the music from this concert will be recorded for the choir’s 7th CD, due for release in 2018-19.

Pour le dernier concert de la saison, OBC interprète les Passions-Motets, rarement réalisés, du premier maître baroque allemand, Heinrich Schütz, le brillant Dixit Dominus de Hændel, et le motet de Bach, Komm, Jesu, komm, BWV 229. Avec un ensemble de cordes baroques et des solistes canadiens, notamment le contre-ténor Daniel Taylor et autres invités spéciaux, ce concert fera sûrement plaisir aux mélomanes de la musique baroque. La musique de ce concert sera enregistrée pour le 7e CD du chœur, qui sera lancé en 2018-19.
