Founded in 1970 in Kraków by composer, musicologist and conductor Stanisław Gałoński, Capella Cracoviensis comprises an ensemble playing on period instruments and a chamber choir. Specializing in Renaissance, Polish Baroque and classical chamber music repertoire, the ensemble is considered one of the most important and outstanding in Poland.
