Virtuosity and rhythmic precision at your fingertips! This concert brings together pianists Pamela Reimer and Erik Bertsch in a highly demanding repertoire. The programme includes works which take you from the fantasy and spirituality of Fabio Nieder to the specificities of timbre and light (Ivan Fedele), from mathematical models applied to the growth of plants (Enno Poppe) to the theatricality of Luciano Berio’s Sequenza. Included are two creations by local composers whose works are regularly performed world-wide (Yulia Zakharava and Michael Oesterle). All in all, a fine opportunity to take the pulse of solo piano composition on an international scale.
