Friday, November 8, 2024 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm – Maestro Arman and the orchestra welcome two superb guest stars – Polish soprano Dominka Zamara will make her Canadian debut in 10 songs by Chopin, and pianist Anya Alexeyev will solo in an orchestral arrangement of Shostakovich’s magnificent Piano Quintet in G minor. The program also includes Kalinnikov’s beautiful late-Romantic Serenade.

Saturday, September 28, 2024 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm – Maestro Arman leads the orchestra in music spanning Baroque to modern-Romantic. Conrad Chow plays Bach’s Violin Concerto No. 2. Brilliant competition winners Anissa She, Jonathan Wang and Victoria Zeng share piano concertos by Mozart. The orchestra finishes with Khachaturian’s folkloric Masquerade Suite’s Waltz, haunting Nocturne, Mazurka, Romance, and dashing Galop.
