Situé au cœur du parc national du Mont-Orford, Orford Musique (anciennement le Centre d’arts Orford) est avant tout une Académie de musique classique de haut niveau dont la mission est de stimuler la créativité des jeunes musiciens à leurs débuts et pendant le développement de leur vie professionnelle en s’appuyant sur l’excellence, la créativité, l’accessibilité et la pérennité. Fondée en 1951 par Gilles Lefebvre, l’Académie Orford Musique est, depuis ses débuts, reconnue comme chef de file parmi les institutions d’enseignement. Elle attire chaque été plus de 400 étudiants universitaires, provenant des quatre coins du monde, venus étudier auprès de professeurs de renommée internationale. Le Festival Orford Musique est un prestigieux événement d’envergure internationale qui attire plus de 20 000 festivaliers annuellement lors de la saison estivale. Sa riche programmation artistique se compose principalement d’une vingtaine de concerts professionnels, d’une quarantaine de concerts gratuits offerts par les étudiants de l’Académie Orford Musique et d’expositions d’arts visuels. Durant l’année, les activités culturelles se poursuivent avec différents événements tels que des déjeuners concerts et des soupers jazz. Orford Musique offre également des services hôteliers avec ses 89 chambres, son bistro adjacent à sa salle à manger, son amphithéâtre de 550 places et sa trentaine de salles de réunion de différentes tailles. Avec ses nombreux forfaits, Orford Musique accueille une clientèle de groupes majoritairement pour des événements culturels. Bien ancré dans les Cantons-de-l’Est, Orford Musique est un organisme à but non lucratif où la nature et la culture sont en parfaite symbiose, ce qui crée un cadre propice à l’épanouissement artistique. Par ses activités multidisciplinaires, Orford Musique participe activement au développement et au rayonnement de la région.
