In a global landscape where South Asian representation is often confined to commercial or dance-driven narratives, Just Prince offers a strikingly soulful alternative. His work broadens the definition of South Asian music on international stages, introspective, compositionally sophisticated, and spiritually resonant. Even within South Asian audiences, his sound stands apart, breaking stereotypes and redefining what representation can truly embody.
His work blends South Asian classical phrasing and raga inspired melodies with contemporary structures. Just Prince has been learning and practicing Indian Classical vocals for over a decade and has a very strong command in an array of western vocal styles. He is inspired by artists who honour tradition, storytellers who treat songwriting as both personal reflection and a beautiful preservation of a picture memory or a thought.
Just Prince and friends will include Patrick O’Reilly on Guitar, Max Senitt on Drums, Reza Moghaddas on Bass, Abbas Jan on Tabla and Just Prince on guitar and Vocals. His 2026 album ‘Ocean’ marks a deeper exploration of multi-cultural storytelling and sonic expansion, following singles that introduced his rooted, reflective, and globally resonant sound.
With the creation of this album, Just Prince has gained the understanding that his role as an artist is not just to perform songs, but to stay true to himself and carry this sound into new spaces.
