Music Niagara proudly presents internationally acclaimed Lithuanian pianist and visual artist Victor Paukstelis, whose performances transcend the traditional concert experience. Known for his deeply expressive interpretations and bold artistic vision, Paukstelis invites audiences into a world where sound and image exist in dialogue—where piano becomes both instrument and canvas.
Praised by critics for his “impeccable sense of rhythm and finely shaped dynamic range,” Paukstelis has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, the Vienna Musikverein, and the Berlin Philharmonic Hall. His work continues to explore new artistic possibilities through projects that blend performance, visual art, and film.
This special program will feature moving visual elements and film, offering audiences a rare glimpse into Paukstelis’s creative world, including selections from his acclaimed Chromatica project and his internationally presented “Recital of Restless Paintings.”
Joining him is Atis Bankas, Founder and Artistic Director of Music Niagara. A Lithuanian-born Canadian violinist of international acclaim, Bankas brings his signature warmth, virtuosity, and profound musicianship to this collaboration, creating a compelling artistic dialogue between piano and violin.
