Ile d’Orléans-born pianist, keyboardist and composer Francis Grégoire presents Prologue, his cinematic jazz debut album, on September 6. He will be accompanied by the Cinématic Quartet, featuring the excellent Gabrielle Gélinas on bass, Damien-Jade Cyr on saxophone and keyboards, and François Laliberté on drums. Under a full-moon evening, the quartet will perform their stellar-themed music, transporting you into a cinematic and epic dimension through their universe that combines jazz fusion, classical music, film music and even progressive rock. Fans of Pat Metheny, Brad Mehldau, Snarky Puppy and Hans Zimmer will be delighted!
