Under the Grand Chapiteau of Saint-Sauveur, music shines brightly every summer. Under the baton of its renowned conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin, the Orchestra delivers a burst of excellence and passion!On the program: Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4, known as the “Italian,” inspired by the composer’s romantic emotions and landscapes during his travels in Italy—one of his most brilliant achievements. The OM will also perform the dazzling Firebird by Igor Stravinsky, as well as Louise Farrenc’s Overture No. 2 and Augusta Holmès’ interlude L’amour et la nuit.
