To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the death of Théodore Dubois, Sinfonia de Montréal invites you to discover the variety of styles of this French composer, organist, and pedagogue who left an indelible mark on the musical landscape of the 19th century. While the symphonic poem Adonis immerses us in the emotions of this tragic Greek myth, his Fantasy for Harp and Orchestra, performed by Juliette Duguay, is characterized by its playfulness, and the French Symphony evokes a patriotic odyssey through the varied soundscapes of France.
