The album Hommage à François Dompierre was released in 2023 on the ATMA Classique label. Louise Bessette initiated this project to celebrate François Dompierre’s 80th birthday. Full of rhythm and colour, the sixteen pieces on the program include piano arrangements of such well-known songs as L’âme à la tendresse, La saisie, Bonheur d’occasion, as well as music written for films and other pieces composed specially for Louise Bessette.
