Wednesday 8

Barthold Kuijken, major world reference of baroque flute, will be on Montreal for a unique concert named « The Flute Throughout the Ages ». It will be one of the rare performances given by this great musician in North America. Born in Belgium, Kuijken is considered to be one of the greatest leading figures of Early Music, with more than forty years of prestation around the world. For the occasion, Kuijken will be by Mike Putterman, Montreal flute player, well-know from the international musical scene. Concert is organized in a special event named « flute throughout the ages », highlighting flute chamber music (Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours, February 8, 7 :30 PM).
